Little Blue Heron

Wakodahatchee Wetlands.  These birds are tricky, because the "Blue" heron is actually white.  Of course, this is a juvenile bird, and white is their normal color.  I remember a talk by Arnold Small at an ABA meeting where he emphasized that "juvenile" birds have "juvenal" plumage.  I have seen even experts get this confused.
