Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Immature

Corkscrew Swamp Audubon Sanctuary.  Another great spot for photography and nature observation.  You never know what you are going to find around the next bend in the long boardwalk!  Both Black-crowned and Yellow-crowned Night-Herons are here, so be sure and check out the field marks, especially on the immatures.  There are volunteers planted around the sanctuary who are very good at helping answer questions about the sanctuary and everything in it.
